We're excited to announce improvements to Cinemata.org that make creating, sharing, and managing your films easier than ever!

What's New for Filmmakers

Subtitle Management Now Works Smoothly

Have you experienced issues uploading or editing subtitles for your videos? We've fixed these problems! You can now:

    • Upload subtitle files without errors
    • Edit your subtitles after uploading them
    • Switch between different subtitle formats more reliably

This means your films can now reach broader audiences with proper captions and translations, making your content more accessible to viewers across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

Easier Playlist Management

Managing your video collections just got simpler! When you need to remove a video from your playlist, you can now do it with one click - no more confirmation dialogues slowing you down. This makes organising your film collections faster and more intuitive.

Email Notifications Are Back

During our last platform upgrade, some of you may have noticed that email confirmations weren't arriving properly. This has been completely resolved! You'll now receive:

    • Account confirmation emails are sent when you sign up
    • Notifications about your video uploads

All emails now display the Cinemata name correctly, so you'll always know they're from us.

Smoother Video Playback

We've upgraded our video player technology to use the latest streaming standards. What does this mean for you?

    • Videos start playing faster
    • Better quality adaptation based on your internet speed
    • More reliable playback across different browsers and devices
    • Improved experience when watching films on mobile
